Previously, I was majoring in computer science, so I found being a computer engineer would be a good major to transition to. One of the main causes for the transition from computer science to computer engineering was my friend's advice to become a engineer. Additionally, I would want to work with computers as an engineer and develop new applications and devices. Another reason I chose computer engineering would be because I would be following in my brother's footsteps as a software engineer.
Some of the many things I have created in the past as a project would be a phone application that would send a mass text to a group of people, a digital stopwatch using only integrated circuits (ICs), and more recently a Minecraft mod implementing archer zombies and mining zombies. I additionally worked on developing a startup for legal tech (CaseViaUs). Right now, I'm working on setting up Arch Linux on my Macbook Pro (2011). More info can be found on my resumes.
This project focused on the design, simulation, construction, and testing of a fully functional digital stopwatch using digital logic components and sequential circuit principles.
The system was developed to measure and display elapsed time through the use of D flip-flops, logic gates, timing circuits, and seven-segment displays. To ensure proper functionality, the circuit was first designed and verified using Multisim simulation software before being implemented on a breadboard.
The final system successfully demonstrated the ability to track time as intended.
